Me and you and everyone we know

Here’s the blog I finally got round to setting up. Each of you needs to get a wordpress account (free) and comment here with your username – when I see that, I’ll add you to this as administrators. Then just do what you want to change the look of this, make posts, etc.

The reason to make this a blog rather than just continuing via email is to allow us to link up with others who’ve been on the course, or want to be on it, and are going on similar ones (I recently met a woman about to go on the course at Bard). If it doesn’t work all that well … we go back to email. :D

For now I see it as a good way of presenting our interests and past experiences to each other and beginning to see what we have in common. The other day I met up with Virginija Januskeviciute who has just finished the course and she was emphasising how quickly we’re going to have to define our project idea once the course starts – so the sooner we start talking, the better.

Things we can use this for: introduction posts (links and intro to recent projects of our own, with a description of things we’re currently interested in); suggested blogroll links; flagging up and discussing interesting projects as we see them; introducing artists and other practitioners to the group.
